Estimates use each response's actual token usage × that model's published price, so they track real spend closely — but pricing can change and some providers round differently, so treat this as a strong estimate, not an invoice.

A key entered here lives in this browser only — it is not baked into the page, so other visitors don't inherit it. But anyone using this browser profile can read it from devtools. If this page is public, prefer the proxy option above, and set a monthly spend limit on the key at openrouter.ai. Treat any browser-held key as disposable and rotate it if unsure.
